Watermark Image

Stamp text or a logo on one picture or many: choose its size, opacity, colour and angle, put it in a corner, the middle or tile it across the picture, and save the results as a ZIP.

About this tool What it's for, how to use it and an example

What it's for

Put your name, a copyright line or a logo on pictures before you share them, one at a time or a whole folder at once. The stamp can sit in a corner, in the middle, or repeat across the picture at an angle.

For example, when you’re posting a set of product photos and want each to carry your shop’s name, choose them all, type the name, pick Tiled across the picture, turn it 30 degrees and save the ZIP.

How to use it

Choose one or more pictures (or drop them on the page). Choose Stamp with text, or a picture such as a logo; a logo is dropped on its own box. Width is how wide the stamp is as a share of each picture’s width, so it looks the same on small and large pictures, and Opacity and Turn set how faint it is and how far it’s tilted. For text, choose its Colour. A Position puts it in a corner or the middle, a set distance from the edge, or Tiled repeats it with a Gap between stamps.

The preview shows the first picture. Save the stamped pictures saves one picture as it is, or several in a ZIP. Each keeps its format (JPEG, PNG or WebP; anything else becomes PNG) and is named with -watermarked. The settings are remembered.

Example

Choose any photo, then set:

Stamp with: Text · Text: © alice · Position: Tiled across the picture · Width: 20 · Opacity: 30 · Turn: -30

The photo shows “© alice” repeated in faint white rows slanting up to the right.

Good to know

A watermark makes copying less convenient, not impossible: anyone can crop it out or paint over it, and a faint one can be removed with editing software, so don’t rely on it to protect a picture. The saved pictures are drawn again, so their metadata (camera details, location) is dropped, and a JPEG is compressed a second time at the quality you choose. Animated pictures keep only their first frame. Text is drawn in your device’s standard bold font. Very large pictures may fail to save if the browser can’t make a canvas that big; the message says how many. Nothing leaves your browser.
