About this tool What it's for, how to use it and an example
What it's for
Make bingo cards without a games shop: 75-ball cards (5 × 5 with a free middle square), UK 90-ball tickets, or cards filled from your own list of words. A caller draws numbers or words in random order and never repeats one.
For example, when you are running a quiz night or a classroom game and want each person to have a different card.
How to use it
Choose the Kind of card and How many cards, then Make cards. With your own words, type one word or phrase per line, choose a size and whether the middle square is free; each card uses different words picked at random. Print the cards opens the browser’s print dialogue with only the cards on the page. Under Caller, choose Draw next for each number (75-ball numbers come with their letter, such as B 7) and Start again for a new round. The kind of card is remembered in the browser. Copy a link to this input keeps the kind, number, size and words; opening it and choosing Make cards gives new cards.
Numbers and words are picked with your browser’s secure random numbers.
Example
Choose Try an example, which makes 4 cards of 3 × 3 from ten words, with a free middle square. Each card holds eight of the ten words, so the cards differ.
Good to know
90-ball cards are single tickets of three rows, not strips of six that together use every number once. Cards are made independently, so two cards could be alike (very unlikely with many words or numbers). The caller doesn’t check anyone’s card for a win. Up to 100 cards at a time. Cards aren’t saved: new ones are made each time.
