Case & Style

Every version of the text at once, each with a Copy button: upper, lower, sentence, capitalised and smart title case, swapped and alternating case; camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and other code styles; diacritics, punctuation, symbols, emoji or numbers removed, plain ASCII, smart or straight quotes, lines joined and text reversed; and Unicode styles such as bubble letters, bold, italic, script, Fraktur, double-struck, monospace, full width, small caps, upside down, strikethrough and Zalgo, plus leetspeak, ROT13, Pig Latin, numeronyms (i18n), Braille and the NATO alphabet.

About this tool What it's for, how to use it and an example

What it's for

See your text in every case and style at once, and copy the one you need. It covers everyday case changes, the naming styles programmers use, clean-up conversions, and decorative Unicode styles for social media.

  • When you’ve typed a heading in capitals by mistake, or need a title in proper title case.
  • When you’re turning a phrase into a variable, file name or URL slug, such as helloWorld, hello_world or hello-world.
  • When you want bold, italic or bubble letters for a social media bio, where formatting isn’t available.

How to use it

Type or paste text, and every version appears below, grouped as Case, Code and file names, Clean up and Fancy. Each has a Copy button. Click a version’s name to make it the new text, so you can chain conversions. Each line is converted separately. Fancy also has numeronyms (internationalization becomes i18n), uncontracted Braille, and the NATO alphabet; to spell out a password exactly, with capitals and symbols named, use Phonetic Spelling.

Example

Type this:

hello world from toolbox

Title Case (Smart) gives Hello World from Toolbox, keeping small words such as “from” in lower case. camelCase gives helloWorldFromToolbox, snake_case hello_world_from_toolbox and kebab-case hello-world-from-toolbox.

Good to know

The fancy styles are Unicode look-alike characters, not formatting. They paste anywhere, but screen readers may read them oddly or not at all, and search engines may not match them as words, so avoid them for anything that needs to be accessible or found.

Each line is converted separately. Copy any result, or click its name to use it as the text.

Fancy

Fancy styles are Unicode look-alike characters, so they paste anywhere, but screen readers and search may not read them as letters.
