Data

Tidy, check and convert structured data: format and validate JSON, XML and YAML, convert between CSV, JSON, YAML, TOML and property lists, split and join CSV files, open SQLite databases and query them (or CSV files) with SQL, turn JSON into types for your code, chart a table, check digits and make test data.

JSON FormatIndent JSON with 2 or 4 spaces or tabs, minify it, or show it as a collapsible tree that copies any value's path; repair loose JSON, sort its keys, pick out values with a JSONPath query, flatten it to dotted paths and back, see what takes up its size, and turn an array into JSON Lines and back. XML FormatIndent XML, or minify it; pick parts out with an XPath query; convert XML to JSON and back. Code FormatMinify HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL or SVG, or lay it out again with 2 or 4 space or tab indents, convert HTML or SVG to React JSX, and turn code into a syntax-highlighted picture. JSON ⇄ YAML ⇄ TOMLConvert between JSON, YAML and TOML in any direction, with 2 or 4 space indents. JSON to TypesTurn JSON, YAML, TOML or SQL CREATE TABLE into TypeScript, Go, Rust, Python, Zod, Pydantic, Protobuf, GraphQL and more, or a JSON Schema. CSV ⇄ JSONConvert either way, turn either into SQL INSERT statements, open an Excel workbook (.xlsx) as CSV or save the data as one, view it as a table you can sort and filter, or transpose, reorder and pivot its columns. SQLite ViewerOpen an SQLite database (.db, .sqlite) to browse its tables and run SQL on it, or load CSV files as tables and query them with SQL. Save the result as CSV, or the database with your changes. Parquet ViewerOpen a Parquet file to see its schema, its rows in a table you can sort and filter, and how it’s stored: row groups, compression and each column’s size. Save every row as CSV or JSON. Plist ⇄ JSONConvert property lists (launchd jobs, Info.plist, app preferences), XML or binary, to JSON and back, tab-indented like plutil. Chart MakerType or paste labels and values (separated by tabs, commas, colons, equals signs or spaces, or cells from a spreadsheet; a header row gives several series) and get columns, bars, stacked or 100% stacked columns and bars, a line, area, pie, doughnut, radar or treemap chart. Data ValidatorCheck JSON, JSON Lines, YAML, TOML, XML or CSV as you type, and JSON, YAML or TOML against a JSON Schema. The text is syntax-highlighted, and each problem is explained, listed with its line and column, and marked where it is. CSV Split & JoinSplit a large CSV or other delimited file into smaller files of a set number of rows, each with the header row, or join several back into one. Rows are copied exactly as they are, quoted line breaks included. File Split & JoinCut any file into parts of a set size, or into a set number of parts, saved as name.001, name.002 and so on, and join such parts back into the original, with a check that none is missing. Test Data GeneratorRows of made-up data from a simple list of fields: numbers, dates, names, emails, choices, patterns, UUIDs and lorem ipsum, with blanks where you want them, as CSV, TSV, JSON, JSON Lines or SQL. Or plain random characters: digits, letters and digits, or with symbols too, in one long run or in lines of a set length. A seed makes the same data every time. Check Digit ValidatorType an IBAN, card number, ISBN, ISSN, barcode (EAN, UPC, GTIN), VIN, ISIN, ORCID iD, NHS number or US routing number to check its check digit. If it's wrong, see what it should be; type ? for a character you don't know to work it out.
